I worked for an alcohol distributor for 17 yrs, and a trick of the trade was bitters. Next time try a shot of Angostura Bitters for a quick fix of a hangover. It is a great digestif and will settle your stomach and at 90 proof will clear some of the cobwebs from your head. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes before you start to feel fine. Sometimes for a severe hang over you made need to tip another shot or two before you feel better.

This drink also works for females!
My coughing and sniffing wife loved it!
Since we don’t have whiskey in the house I used Calvados, which gives it a nice apple taste. I also added a little bit of cinnamon for the finishing touch.
